Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Day in Cairo
When you arrive at Cairo International Airport our representative will meet and assist you and accompany you to your Hotel by A/C Vehicle. After checking you in he will discuss with you the agenda for your tours before leaving you to relax and settle in.
Day 2: Giza Pyramids, Sakkara, and Memphis
When you have finished and enjoyed your Breakfast your private Egyptologist Guide will pick you up from your hotel to accompany you for a visit to the Global famous Giza Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Continue to view the silent majesty of the Sun God Sphinx which has the head of an Egyptian King with a lion's body and stands on the Giza Plateau, also take a visit to King Chephren's Valley Temple, where you will have an amazing story about the great pyramids of Egypt and its uniqueness.
After enjoying Giza masterpieces, you will be guided to Sakkara Pyramid with all parts of the great funerary complex of King Zoser from the third dynasty, and to explore the City’s last remaining vestiges around the villages of Dahshur and Saqqara. Then Visit Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, where the colossal statue of Grand Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx are. this City was the first capital of Egypt established by King Menes dates back to 3100 B.C. At the end of the Tour around 13:00 pm, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Day 3: Egyptian Museum of Cairo & Salah El Din Citadel
After Breakfast your qualified Egyptologist Guide will pick you up and accompany you on a visit to the marvelous Egyptian Museum of Cairo which houses artifacts from different spots of history. Here you will be able to view the wonderful King Tut collection of treasure.
We now proceed to Salah El Din Citadel, which is a medieval Islamic fort, where you will see all Cairo view from there. Carry on to view Mohamed Ali Mosque the most noticeable Mosque in Cairo with its Twin Ottoman style Minarets built in the memory of his oldest son.
Day 4: Aswan Nile Cruise, Philae & High Dam.
After Breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Cairo Airport to catch the flight to Aswan, on your arrival at Aswan Airport your Aswan Guide will meet you and transfer you for a tour to the High Dam built in 1960 to protect Egypt from annual floods from the Nile. Then journey on to visit the beautiful Philae Temple which was built in honor of the Goddess Isis the Goddess of magic and motherhood. After that, the guide will transfer you to the Nile Cruise to make check in.
Day 5: Kom Ombo & Edfu Temple.
After breakfast. It's the time now to visit Kom Ombo Temple, this wonderful Temple is shared by the two gods Sobek (the Crocodile) and Horus (the falcon).
Then the journey includes the visit to Edfu, the Horus Temple. With its important scenes and inscriptions of the Sacred Drama of goodness (Horus) and evil (Seth).
Day 6: Karnak & Luxor Temples.
After breakfast, you will be guided by Luxor Guide to the grand Temples of Karnak, where you can visit the Sacred Lake and the huge Scarab Statue of luck. Karnak Temples was built from 3400 B.C. in dedication to God Amon of the Sun, his wife Mut of earth and their son Khons of the Moon.
Continue onto visit Luxor Temple with its multi civilization features of ancient Egyptian, Coptic and Islamic one. It was built by Amonhotep III, grandfather of King Tut in the 18th Dynasty and it was completed by Grand Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. From there you could have the opportunity to go through the Sphinx Avenue way that connect the Luxor temple with the great castle of Karnak.
Day 7: Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut temple/ Hurghada.
After breakfast and check out, you will start a magical journey to the city of dead on the west bank of Luxor, where you will visit the two colossi of Memnon, the guards of the Necropolis of King Amonhotep III. Then you will visit the Valley of the Kings with its marvelous colorful tombs of the Golden age Kings of Egypt, and you could see the burial place of King Tut with his Mummy, and to listen to the story for how King Tut died by your Egyptologist guide. Continue onto the temple of sacred of sacredness of Queen Hatshepsut (Deir Elbahari) with its unique design by the great architect Sennenmut from the 18th Dynasty, 14 century B.C.
After this fantastic tour you will be transferred to Hurghada.
- The visit to Set 1st, King Tut tomb is optional.
Day 8: Hurghada.
It is your opportunity to take a submarine tour or some sightseeing in the City of Hurghada or relax with a lazy day on the beach.
Day 9: Hurghada.
you have the option to either enjoy some snorkeling in the beautiful Red Sea and view the different coral reefs and marine life or to have some relaxation time on the beautiful beaches of Hurghada.
Day 10: Hurghada to Cairo transfer.
you will be transferred to Cairo in an A/C Vehicle, to have a free day. If you like to have any plans you can discuss that with your guide.
Day 11: Alexandria Day.
After Breakfast you will start a new journey to Alexandria, where you will visit the three levels of underground Kom El Shoqafa rock cut tombs from the Roman time, dating back to the 3rd century A.D.
Then you will visit Pompey's Pillar, which was constructed in honor of the Roman Emperor Diocletian from 284 to 305 A.C. originally from the temple of the Serapis, it was once a magnificent structure from the Hellenistic period of Egypt.
Continue onto the Qaitbay Citadel, which represents one of the most defensive strongholds in the Mediterranean Sea. Visit the citadel that used to formulate an important part of the fortification system of Alexandria in the 15th century A.D. At the end of the day you will go back to Cairo.
Day 12: Islamic & Coptic Cairo.
After breakfast, you will start the journey by visiting the Mosque & Madrasa of Sultan Hassan located in the historic district of Cairo from the Mamlouk period 1356 and 1363 A.D. Then followed by Al-Rifa'i Mosque, adjacent to the Cairo Citadel. Now, it is also the royal mausoleum of Muhammad Ali's family. The building is located opposite the Mosque-Madrassa of Sultan Hassan. Then the amazing Mosque of Ibn Tulun, which is considered to be one of the suspended mosques, The mosque was built on a rocky hill, known as Jabal Ichker.
Continue onto Coptic Cairo, where you will see the Babylon Fortress, the Hanging Church, the Greek Church of St. George and many other Coptic churches and historical sites.
It is believed that the Holy Family visited this area and stayed at the site of Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church (Abu Serga). Most of the current buildings of the churches in Coptic Cairo were built after the Muslim conquest of Egypt in the 7th century A.D.
Day 13: Departure Day.
After Breakfast check out from your hotel to be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.
